Red Light Therapy

Red Light Therapy Bar for Recovery!

Red light therapy naturally energizes your cells and stimulates recovery in a relaxing, non-invasive treatment.

What is Red Light Therapy and what will it do for me?

Red light therapy works by using near-infrared light to penetrate the skin and stimulate the cells. This light boosts energy production in the mitochondria of the cells, helping them repair damage, reduce inflammation, and grow new, healthy cells. It’s often used for healing injuries, easing pain, improving skin, and promoting overall wellness.

Our Clearlight® Red Light Therapy Tower uses powerful red light (650nm) and can also be used during your sauna session.  Light therapy has been tested across hundreds of clinical trials with positive results.

What is an Red Light session like?

To prepare for your session...

  • If you choose to wear clothing during your session, a bathing suit is recommended.

  • Use the bathroom prior to your session!

When you arrive...

  • Arrive for your scheduled session five minutes early. (15 minutes if you need to fill out your intake form for a first appointment)

  • After you fill out your intake form with medical history, your LaVida associate will bring you to a relaxing, private room and discuss your goals and any concerns.

  • Your LaVida representative will discuss the session with you and set the parameters of the red light.

  • You have room to undress (a bathing suit is recommended); and a robe and towel are provided for you to use.

  • Enter the sauna and either sit facing the Red Light Tower - or, if you have a particular area of concern, you may stand and position yourself so that the area is closest to the Tower (see below diagrams.)

  • You can press the power button on the Red Light Bar when you are ready. The max time this unit will deliver light therapy is 30 minutes.

  • When your session ends, exit the sauna and dry off before dressing. You will check out at the front desk where you can rehydrate and book your next session!

  • You are encouraged to stay very hydrated after your treatment.

How do I use the Red Light Bar?

Your LaVida associate will help you understand how to position yourself in front of the Red Light Therapy bar. You want your areas of concern to be closest to the bar for maximum effectiveness.

  • What makes the LaVida Hydrafacial different?
The LaVida Hydrafacial is different because we include additional "spa" services to our 45 min treatment. We include a customized double cleanse, skin analysis and relaxing shoulder and décolletage massage. Facial Lymphatic Therapy is also included with every Hydrafacial.
  • How many Hydrafacials will I need?
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended to maintain skin health results.
  • Can I get a Hydrafacial right after Botox?
You must wait 2 weeks after Botox or any other injectables to get a Hydrafacial at LaVida.
  • Can I get a Hydrafacial any time of year?
YES! While we never encourage being in the sun without SPF, Hydrafacial can be performed even in the summer - so you can get regular hydrafacials all year long! *Can not be performed on sunburned skin.
  • Can anyone get a Hydrafacial?
Those with active skin conditions such as severe eczema, rosacea, or open wounds should consult with a dermatologist before proceeding. Overall, Hydrafacial’s gentle yet effective approach ensures that it remains a safe and popular choice for most skin types to achieve healthier, glowing skin. Please note that all treatments are at the discretion of our Esthetician. You will not be charged if your Esthetician decides that a treatment is unsafe or inappropriate.

How do I book my Red Light Therapy Session?

Because Red Light Therapy is safe for most people, you may book directly online. Please review and fill out your intake form to be sure you have no contraindications for this treatment!
